Документ Comparison of biogas production from chicken manure in the mesophilic and thermophilic modes(2015) Salyuk, Anatoly; Zhadan, Sergiy; Shapovalov, YevheniiDuring the experiment concentration of methane in the biogas increased faster with increase of substrate moisture both under mesophilic and thermophilic conditions. However the increase in thermophilic mode was more dynamic. Mesophilic conditions are more suitable for methane fermentation of chicken manure at low moisture level. Substrate moisture value which could cease methane production both temperatures modes was not found.Документ Disposial of chiken manure by methane fermentation(2013) Salyuk, Anatoly; Zhadan, Sergiy; Shapovalov, YevheniiChickens badly absorb energy of plant feed. Most of it goes in the manure, Therefore, it can be used as a source of renewable energy in the production of biogas, which is one of the ways of its utilization. Chicken manure contains uric acid and undigested proteins, which are two main forms of nitrogen. The ratio C/ N is less than optimal. Anaerobic decomposition of these substances in chicken manure resulted in the production of high amounts of ammonia, which under certain concentration leads to inhibition of the process. However, it has been repeatedly shown that methanogens can adapt to increased concentrations of ammonianitrogen.Number of researchers have reported the successful operation of digestion systems for poultry manure. Mostof these systems were designed to operate in the mesophilic range.Given the wide margin of variation of parameters by different researchers of the process, the aim of our studywas to establish the optimal parameters of anaerobic digestion of chicken manure.Methane fermentation of chicken manure was carried out in the mesophilic temperature regime at thetemperature of about 35 °C. The fermentation was carried out in periodic regime. The investigation was carriedout at four different manure moisture levels (80 %, 85 %, 90 %, 95 %) and three different doses of inoculum(5 %, 10 %, 15 % of the volume). It has been found out that with the increase of manure moisture the biogas yield from one unit of drysubstance and correspondingly dry organic substances also increases, but from one unit of digester volume —decreases. The optimal parameters for carrying out anaerobic digestion of chicken manure are: moisture ofsubstrate at the level of 85 %, amount of inoculum — 5 %, duration of the process — from 13 to 20 days.Документ Methane fermentation of chicken manure at mesophilic conditions(2015) Zhadan, Sergiy; Shapovalov, Yevhenii; Patrick, Ngogang; Salyuk, Anatoly; Yakymenko, IgorPoultry is one of the most intensive and mechanized agricultural sectors. Poultrymanure is the main ecological problem of poultry farms and its poor management can cause seriousenvironmental damage. As far as birds absorb energy of plant feed badly and that more than half ofthe energy is used unproductively – it goes to the manure, it can be seen as a powerful source ofrenewable energy. Methane digestion is an effective method of animal waste processing. Poultry manure has a higher fraction of biodegradable organic matter than other livestock wastes. The aim of our study was to investigate methanogenesis of chicken manure in a wide range of moisture content values in the mesophilic mode.Документ Ontology-Based Systemizing of the Science Information Devoted to Waste Utilizing by Methanogenesis(2018) Shapovalov, Yevhenii; Shapovalov, Viktor; Stryzhak, O.; Salyuk, AnatolyOver the past decades, amount of scientific information has been growing exponentially. It became more complicated to process and systemize this amount of data. The approach to systematization of scientific information on the production of biogas based on the ontological IT platform “T.O.D.O.S.” has been developed. It has been proposed to select semantic characteristics of each work for their further introduction into the IT platform “T.O.D.O.S.”. An ontological graph with a ranking function for previous scientific research and for a system of selection of microorganisms has been worked out. Glycine provides the fragmentation of microalgae’s trichomes. The intensity of the fragmentation in this case depends on the concentration of the brought in glycine and on the phase of culture’s growth it is brought in.Документ The influence of exogenous glycine on growth and cyanobacteria Spirulina рlatensis (Gom.). Geitl photosynthetic processes(2018) Kotynskyy, Andriy; Salyuk, Anatoly; Zhadan, SergiyThe aim of the work was to study the impact of glycine on Spirulina growth and photosynthetic processes intensity. For research the culture of Spirulina platensis (Gom.) Geitl cyanobacterium strain LGU — 603 from collection of Kholodny Institute of Botany of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was used. The cultivation process was carried out in Zaruk nutrient medium in a vertical tubular apparatus of 8 cm in diameter and of volume 2 dm3 in a constant mixing of the culture medium with air. Introduction of glycine in a cultural environment resulted in the increase of the Spirulina productivity, maintenance of basic photosynthetic pigments and protein. Glycine introduction allowed to increase the growth rate of spirulina and to content achieve the high density of the culture due to the increased length of log-phase. Intensification of Spirulina platensis growth and its productivity increase was due to the fragmentation of cyanobacteria trichomes, so the increase of trichomes number with a small number of cells, which grow quickly. The degree of fragmentation depended on the concentration of introduced glycine and on the culture development stadium and also on introduced glycine concentration.Документ The Reaserch of Dry Chicken Manure Methanogenesis Stability(2019) Shapovalov, Yevhenii; Salyuk, Anatoly; Kotynskyy, Andriy; Tarasenko, RomanThe studies were conducted in batch mode in thirteen repetitions at humidity of 78, 80, 82 and 84%. The coefficient of variation of methane production varied from 14.84% to 35.17% in a mesophilic mode and from 14.4% to 78.21% in a thermophilic mode, which means high instability of the process. The moisture content had a much greater effect on the stability of the process in thermophilic conditions than in mesophilic ones.Документ Thermophilic methane fermentation of chicken manure in a wide range of substrate moisture contents(2015) Salyuk, Anatoly; Zhadan, Sergiy; Shapovalov, YevheniiOne of the effective ways of environmental management in poultry waste that allows the increase of energysaving and reduction of negative environmental impact is methane fermentation. Methane fermentation process is possible in three temperature modes: psychrophilic, mesophilic and thermophilic. Methane fermentation of chicken manure in thermophilic mode is less studied in comparison with mesophilic mode. The article presents the results of the study of methane fermentation of these wastes. The process was carried out in thermophilic conditions at 50 °C. Substrate moisture values varied from 72% to 99%. Biogas production ranged from 10,6 ml / g VS to 382,3 ml / g VS, methane production – from 1,8 ml / g VS to 207,9 ml / g VS. The maximum yield of biogas and methane per unit of mass was reached with the substrate moisture content of 92%. Production of methane from chicken manure in the thermophilic mode with low moisture level of the substrate was also possible despite the high content of ammonia nitrogen and free ammonia. However, with a decrease of the substrate moisture content lower than 80% efficiency of methane fermentation was at the same level and very low/Документ Trends and expected benefits of the breaking edge food technologies in 2021–2030(2021) Ivanov, Volodymyr M.; Shevchenko, Oleksandr; Marynin, Andriy; Stabnikov, Victor; Stabnikova, Elena; Gubenia, Oleksii; Shevchenko, Anastasiia; Gavva, Oleksandr M.; Salyuk, AnatolyThe review considered the major trends in the world development of new food processing technologies in 2021–2030: more strict regulations of food safety including QPCR and DNA-sequencing detection of emerging food-borne pathogens, comprehensive control of minor chemical pollutants of food; production of functional food including food for babies, children, pregnant women, elderly, for sport activities, military food, meals ready-to-eat, microelements-enriched food, nutraceuticals, and clinical food; emerging environmentally-friendly and energy-saving food processing; biotechnological food processing using enzymes proteinases, glutamine transferases, galactosidases, enzymes, microbial metabolites, and new sources of food such as insects and artificial meat; personalization of food processing and distribution including adaptation of the food processing to the nutritional needs of different customer groups.
