(Application of Low-Frequency Mechanical Vibrations for Development of Highly Efficient Continuous Extraction Equipment / V. Zavialov, T. Mysiura, N. Popova, Yu. Zaporozhets, V. Chornyi // Design, Simulation, Manufacturing: The Innova-tion Exchange: Book of Abstracts of the 5th International Conference on Design, Simulation, Manufacturing: The Innovation Exchange June 7-10, 2022 | Poznan, Poland p.148, 2022) Zavialov, Volodymyr; Mysiura, Taras; Popova, Nataliia; Zaporozhets, Yuliia; Chornyi, Valentyn
Research results of the regularities of pulsating turbulent flows distribution generated with the transport elements of a vibrating extractor for solid-liquid systems with a small difference in phase densities in a non-flowing liquid medium are presented. The experimental results in the entire investigated range of hydrodynamic operating modes of the apparatus are summarized by the dependences by which it becomes possible to determine the distance between vibro-mixing devices, the dimensions of the apparatus, the height of the unloading device for removing the meal, to choose the design of the transporting open element of the plate, to optimize and scale the process.

Substantiation of Energy Parameters of a Continuous-Action Vibroextractor for a Solid-Liquid System
(2020) Zavialov, Volodymyr; Mysiura, Taras; Popova, Nataliia; Zaporozhets, Yuliia; Chornyi, Valentyn
The results of studies on energy consumption for the process of extracting target components with continuous vibration extraction in a solid-liquid system with a small difference in phase densities are presented. The influence of low-frequency mechanical oscillations on energy consumption is substantiated and regularities of their change from the mode parameters of the process are established. It is established that the power required to perform vibration mixing is determined by the fictitious force in the oscillatory motion and the resistance created by the viscous friction of the mixing device in the working environment. Taking into account the fictitious component of the vibrating mixing system, the equation of total energy consumption for the continuous vibration extraction process is obtained. For the interpretation of the obtained experimental dependencies, the energy consumption by the vibration mixing devices was calculated. It has been shown that vibration mixing allows for the efficient use of the energy invested in a unit of work volume, evenly distributing it in the cross-section of the apparatus.

Justification of Local Expenditure Characteristics of Vibrotransporting Devices in Design Modeling of Continuous Vibroextractors
(2021) Zavialov, Volodymyr; Mysiura, Taras; Popova, Nataliia; Zaporozhets, Yuliia; Chornyi, Valentyn
Extensive industrial implementation and practical provision of conditions for optimal vibroextraction process, which is based on a new method of countercurrent phase separation and creation of a regime of intensive alternating turbulence of the workflow by pulsating jets, is constrained by the complexity and insufficient study of expenditure characteristics of vibrotransporting devices required for modeling and design of this type apparatuses. For this purpose, the article describes the regularity of pulsating jets propagation generated by transport elements, the dependence of the vibroextractor productivity on the solid phase, and the level of longitudinal mixing by the longitudinal mixing coefficient from determining relative geometric parameters. The mathematical description can be taken as a basis for optimizing problems for the definition of rational operating modes of the vibroextractors having the combined structure of hydrodynamic flows and providing necessary productivity with the minimum effect of longitudinal mixing.

(2018) Zavialov, Volodymyr; Zaporozhets, Yuliia; Mysiura, Taras; Popova, Nataliia; Sukmanov, Valeriy; Chornyi, Valentyn
The paper presents the results of research on the influence of low-frequency mechanical oscillations and electric discharges on morphological changes in a structure of hop raw material for vibroextraction. Shown expedience of preliminary processing of water-hops suspension by electropulse discharges in order to intensify vibroextraction of plant raw material with low extractive property. Determined rational process parameters.

Justification of the influence of low-frequency mechanical vibrations on the intensification of the process of extraction of desired components from plant raw materials
(2014) Zavialov, Volodymyr; Mysiura, Taras; Malezhik, Ivan; Bodrov, Viktor; Zaporozhets, Yuliia; Popova, Nataliia; Lobok, Alexey
The problem to justify the influence of low-frequency mechanical vibrations on external mass transfer under the conditions of vibroextraction from plant raw materials and establish the regularities of its change depending of the mode parameters of the process was stated. Tim intensive renewal of the contact surface of phases in vibroextractors was achieved due to the mode parameters of the process (frequency and anqjlitude of vibrations of the vibrotransporting system). The established functional dependence of saturation of the extract by extractive substances with time on the volume mass-transfer coefficient will enable us to determine the minimum time for which the system achieves die equilibrium state of not only extraction processes, but also of the processes that are accompanied by mass exchange in apparatuses with mixing devices. The conclusions and results of the mathematical modeling under the conditions of vibroextraction agree with the results of die experiments.
