Perspective method of cleaning water from toxic substances
(2017) Pashchenko, Bohdan; Litvinenko, Aleksandr; Shtefan, Yevgenii
The authors propose a promising method of wastewater treatment from toxic pollutants. It involves the combined decontamination from ions of heavy and non-ferrous metals in conditions of hydrodynamic cavitation. The expediency of this method is substantiated and their results are given in comparison with typical cleaning technologies.

Analysis of the structural and mechanical parameters of the ceramic membranes in the technological process of manufacturing
(2016) Pashchenko, Bohdan; Shtern, Michael; Shtefan, Yevgenii; Mikhailov, Oleh
The results of complex numerical experiments of this work showed: the distributions of internal porosity of the particles and the amount of accumulated plastic deformation of the base particles on the product volume of the material aren’t uniform; the greatest deformation of the material occurs in the products is in obtuse angles, the lowest — in sharp corners. The patterns of influence of the external forces are similar to known results concerning seals mono dispersed environments.

The adequacy of mathematical modeling in powder products manufacturing processes
(2019) Shtefan, Yevgenii; Mikhailov, Anatoliy; Litvinenko, Aleksandr; Kadomsky, Sergiy; Pashchenko, Bohdan
The materials present a system of equations that can be used to create a mathematical model of deformation processes that allows taking into account the structural, mechanical, and rheological parameters of the solid phase of the material.

Cavitation liquid extraction of organic substances
(2019) Litvinenko, Aleksandr; Kadomsky, Sergiy; Boyko, Yurii; Pashchenko, Bohdan; Shtefan, Yevgenii
The article shows that it is possible to effectively cavitate various production media. For example, a significant effect was found in the extraction of protein from defatted ground bones. The extraction process according to a similar scheme at 18-20°C allowed for an additional 4-6% of protein to be extracted by weight. The results of extraction of biologically active substances from vegetable raw materials were also obtained.
