Abstract

This paper examines the fundamental principles of healthy eating and contemporary protein intake requirements, focusing on their practical application in restaurants and catering services. It addresses the nutritional concerns surrounding the popular social media trend known as «protein-maxxing», which has driven the industrial expansion of highly processed protein-boosted products. The study demonstrates that foodservice operations play a central role in promoting public health by offering balanced, high-quality lean protein options and encouraging responsible portion control.
