Адаптація навчальних дисциплін під програму ЕМІ

Abstract

У статті розглянуто особливості впровадження англійської мови як засобу навчання (EMI) у закладах вищої освіти як важливого інструменту інтернаціоналізації освітнього процесу та підвищення конкурентоспроможності здобувачів освіти. Проаналізовано основні виклики реалізації EMI, принципи адаптації навчальних матеріалів, а також сучасні методи активного навчання, що сприяють ефективному засвоєнню фахових дисциплін англійською мовою. Обґрунтовано необхідність комплексної мовної підтримки викладачів і студентів та формування інституційної мовної політики для успішного впровадження програм EMI у вітчизняних закладах вищої освіти.This article examines the implementation of English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) in higher education institutions as an important tool for the internationalization of education and for enhancing students' global competitiveness. It analyzes the main challenges of EMI implementation, the principles of adapting teaching materials, and the use of active learning methods that facilitate the effective acquisition of subject-specific knowledge in English. The study emphasizes the need for comprehensive language support for both teachers and students, as well as the development of an institutional language policy to ensure the successful implementation of EMI programs in higher education institutions.
