Прокоментовано міжнародний досвід (США, Німеччини, Швейцарії, Японії та Китаю) досягнення конкурентних переваг, визначена роль держави як гаранта захисту добросовісної конкуренції. Запропоновано інноваційно-кластерну основу побудови конкурентоздатної економіки, зокрема, кластерну модель розвитку – як фундамент підвищення конкурентоздатності харчової промисловості України.The paper identified the theoretical and methodological basis to determine the level of competitiveness of the economy, analyzed factors of global competitiveness and the main reason for her loss, the analysis of existing theories of competitive advantages of individual countries and their determinants. Commented international experience (USA, Germany, Switzerland, Japan and China) to achieve competitive advantage, defines the role of the state as guarantor of the protection of fair competition.
