The subject of the study is the application of methods of data mining to support the process of adjusting the assortment of products. As a result of the study, the information technology has been developed, which includes adapted methods of data mining. The use of this technology will improve the efficiency of economic activity of enterprises. This is achieved by reducing the cost of the product itself.
