Проаналізовані сучасні способи переробки пивної дробини, як високотонажного відходу виробництва пива. Запропоновано висушувати її на турбулентній сушарці з подальшим гранулюванням. Встановлено, що більш якісні гранули при мінімальних витратах пари отримуються із чисто солодової або солодово-рисової дробини з додаванням до неї перед висушуванням 15 % залишкових пивних дріжджів.
The current methods or processing of the treatment of spent grain as a waste of beer production were analyzed. We investigated the grains from different types of unmalted raw materials: rice semolina, barley and corn flour. Residual brewer's yeasts were added (15 % vol.) into all kinds of pellets for insuring of biological regulatory. The wet pallets were dried in the turbulent dryer, the performance of which was regulated by turns of spent grain dewatering press. The temperature of dryer agent was 160 °C inlet, in the zones of drying it was 83 °C, than 90 °C and 87 °C and 105 X outlet. The different amounts of steam were spent for the production of the pallets with a given humidity (12 % max.). That amounts were depend from physic and chemical composition of the original grains. The largest expenditure of steam required from drying grains with corn flour, but in this case the quality of product as fat and crude oil protein content was higher. The minimum cost of a couple was dried pure malt grains, but also the quality of the product was lowest. Cost couples increased with the numbers of revolutions of the press push-ups, which is due to the large quantities of wet spent grain.
