dc.description.abstractPurpose: Monitoring of phytopathology condition of plane trees (Platanus L.) in the cities of Kyiv and Zhytomyr. Methods: The samples for the investigation have been selected in the course of route investigation of plants in parks, public gardens, and street plantations of plane trees in Kyiv and Zhytomyr. Phytopathology analysis and morphometry of conidia and fruit bodies and asci of Erysiphe platani were carried out with the help of a light microscope and a smartphone with the software "Magnifier Cam". Results: For the first time, the affection of leaves of plants genus Platanus L. by powdery mildew Erysiphe platani has been detected in the most northern region of Ukraine (50°26'34 N; 30°32'56 E). The fungus went through the full development cycle, with the formation of mycelium, conidia, and cleistothecia. A comparative analysis of morphometric parameters of conidia and cleistothecia of Erysiphe platani sampled by other authors and researchers has been conducted. Conclusions: The affection of Platanus x acerifolia plants by powdery mildew Erysiphe platani has been observed only in certain localities in Kyiv, where the host plant grows. Several types of affection have been identified: complete coverage of the upper surface of a mature leaf which does not cause its deformation; the formation of a densely felted mold on young apical leaves and deformation of the leaf blade; damage to the Lammas leaves of plants (second half of August).
dc.description.abstractМета: Моніторинг фітопатологічного стану платанів (Platanus L.) у містах Києві та Житомирі. Методи: Зразки для дослідження відібрано в ході маршрутного дослідження рослин у парках, скверах, вуличних насадженнях платанів у Києві та Житомирі. Фітопатологічний аналіз і морфометрію конідій, плодових тіл і аскурів Erysiphe platani проводили за допомогою світлового мікроскопа та смартфона з програмним забезпеченням «Magnifier Cam». Результати: Вперше виявлено ураження листків рослин роду Platanus L. борошнистою росою Erysiphe platani в найпівнічнішому регіоні України (50°26'34 пн.ш.; 30°32'56 сх.д.). Гриб пройшов повний цикл розвитку з утворенням міцелію, конідій і клейстотецій. Проведено порівняльний аналіз морфометричних показників конідій та клейстотецій Erysiphe platani, відібраних іншими авторами та дослідниками. Висновки: Ураження рослин Platanus x acerifolia борошнистою росою Erysiphe platani відзначено лише в окремих населених пунктах Києва, де росте рослина-господар. Виявлено кілька видів ураження: повне охоплення верхньої поверхні зрілого листка, що не викликає його деформації; утворення щільно повстяної плісняви ​​на молодих верхівкових листках і деформація листкової пластинки; ураження ламмасом листя рослин (друга половина серпня).
