Документ Aspects of influence of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium on interferonogenesis and phagocytic cells activity(2009) Spivak, Mykola; Pidgorsky, Valentin; Lazarenko, Lyudmila; Shynkarenko, Lyubov; Olevinska, Zoya; Timoshok, Natalia; Starovoitova, SvitlanaThe introduction of Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium longum, Lactobacillus acidofilus, Lactobacillus casei or Lactobacillus bulgaricus to mice was accompanied by increase of functional activity of phagocytosis system cells proved by stimulation of oxygen-depending bactericide and absorbing activity of peritoneal macrophages. As our date testifies the composition on the basis of Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium longum, Lactobacillus acidofilus, Lactobacillus casei or Lactobacillus bulgaricus is the most perspective for probioticoimmunotherapy.Документ Cholesteraze activity of new lacto- and bifidobacteria strains in vitro(2010) Starovoitova, Svitlana; Kishko, K.; Lazarenko, Lyudmila; Shynkarenko, Lyubov; Spivak, Mykola; Nikolaychuk, M.Cholesteraze activity of new strains of lacto- and bifidobacteria was studied. It was demonstrated that all strains of lаcto- and bifidobаcteriа in vitro posess different levels of cholesteraze activity. Lactobacillus casei VK-4 IMV B-7280 proved to be the most effective strain. Results of research on cholesteraze activity of different lacto- and bifidobacteria strain compositions showed that the most active combinations are those based on Lactobacillus casei and one of other studied strains of lacto- and bifidobacteria, as well as Bifidobacterium longum and Bifidobacterium bifidum. The studied bacterial strains and also compositions on their basis can be used to create complex probiotics for special purposes.Документ Cholesterol-lowering activity of lactic acid bacteria probiotic strains in vivo(2012) Starovoitova, Svitlana; Babenko, Lidia; Timoshok, Natalia; Shynkarenko, Lyubov; Lazarenko, Lyudmila; Spivak, MykolaCholesterol-lowering activity of probiotic strains of lactic acid bacteria genera Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium in the in vivo experiments on the model of experimental hypercholesterolemia in mice was studied. It is established that the prophylactic scheme of introduction of probiotic cultures is more effective than therapeutic one for the manifestation of cholesterase activity of probiotic cultures. The most effective were the cultures: L. acidophilus and B. bifidum, as well as the composition B. bifidum + B. longum. Cholesterol-lowering activity of the studied strains and their compositions in this experiment ranged between 40-78%. It is noted that cholesterase activity of other studied strains was not lower, and in some cases, higher than that of most of the drugs currently used in cholesterinosis.Документ Influence of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium on interferonogenesis and phagocytic cells activity(2009) Spivak, Mykola; Pidgorsky, Valentin; Lazarenko, Lyudmila; Shynkarenko, Lyubov; Rachkova, L. T.; Olevinska, Zoya; Timoshok, Natalia; Starovoitova, SvitlanaIt was established that Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium longum, Lactobacillus acidofilus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus bulgaricus as well as standard interferon inducer ridostine in vivo had activating influence on production of endogenous interferon that proved to be true by essential increase of interferon titer in blood serum of mice during 6 days. For 12 days the interferon titer in blood serum did not exceed a control value. Lactobacillus acidofilus and Bifidobacterium longum have appeared the most effective inducing agent of both “early” and “late” interferon. The simultaneous injection of Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium longum, Lactobacillus acidofilus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus bulgaricus led to more significant increase of interferon titer in mic blood serum comparing with the influence of the single strain.Документ Study of biological properties of lacto- and bifidobacteria in vitro(2009) Starovoitova, Svitlana; Lazarenko, Lyudmila; Shynkarenko, Lyubov; Spivak, MykolaIt is experimentally shown that all cultures of lacto- and bifidobacteria possess the wide spectrum of antagonistic activity and are the active antagonists of pathogenic microorganisms and also yeasts of genus Candida.
