Abstract

The sorption properties of activated and modified carbon fiber for sorting purification using experimental and mathematical-statistical methods of planning and processing of experimental results, their systematization and processing using modern software. Experimental studies of the sorption activity of carbon materials in relation to organic compounds have been carried out and the positive effect of modified fiber on the sorting purification process has been proved. When sorption of acetic acid by activated carbon fiber and modified carbon fiber under static conditions, it was found that the activated modified material sorbs 1,3 to 1,7 times more than the activated carbon fiber.
