Проблеми і перспективи розвитку готельного та ресторанного бізнесу в Україні

Abstract

У статті розглянуто актуальні проблеми розвитку індустрії гостинності в Україні. Досліджено основні тенденції формування доходів та операційних витрат підприємств у секторі надання готельних і ресторанних послуг. На основі цього виявлено основні причини формування негативних фінансових результатів діяльності підприємств готельного та ресторанного бізнесу. Крім того, зроблено спробу виявлення причинно-наслідкового зв 'язку між проблемами, які виникають на рівні менеджменту підприємств, з проблемами макроекономічного характеру (проблеми недосконалості законодавчої бази, яка регламентує діяльність підприємств цього сектору, інфраструктурні проблеми ринку готельних і ресторанних послуг тощо). Описано можливі шляхи вирішення наявних проблем і перспективи розвитку підприємств готельного та ресторанного бізнесу. Запропоновано способи підвищення конкурентоспроможності й ефективності функціонування готелів і ресторанів в Україні. The article describes the current problems of the hospitality industry in Ukraine. The basic trends of revenues and opera-ting costs of enterprises in the sector of hotel and restaurant services are investigated. On this basis, the main reasons for formation of negative financial results of the hotel and res-taurant business are identified. In addition, the article attempts to identify the cause — effect relationship between the problems that arise at the level of management of enterprises with macroeconomic problems (in particular, the quality problem of the legislative framework governing the activities of enterprises in the sector, infrastructural problems of the market of hotel and restaurant services, etc. d). In this regard, the article describes the possible ways to solve existing problems and prospects of development of hotel and restaurant business. The author suggests ways to improve the competitiveness and efficiency of hotels and restaurants in Ukraine.
