Learning foreign languages is an important component of this integration process as it enables people to communicate effectively with individuals from other countries. The purpose of the article is to substantiate main principles that are a necessary condition for the development of foreign language integrated skills, as they include all the necessary requirements for teaching foreign languages in the context of the European integration. The research of the article is based on analyzing work of Ukrainian scientists, who studied the peculiarities of the use of immersion method in teaching foreign languages and principles of its application at higher schools of Ukraine. The principles of foreign language learning in this context are influenced by the need for effective communication, intercultural understanding, and cooperation among member states.
