Digital resources optimize the learning process by making it mobile, individualized, and differentiated. First, the article discusses the use of TikTok, then Instagram and blogs in foreign language learning in classes at various types of educational institutions. It is noted that the using social networks in the educational environment is a powerful tool for preparing students for communication in the English-speaking environment. And it helps to solve a number of problems for teachers. In particular, it helps to overcome the negative impact of interlanguage interference and to keep up with modern technological advances, both inside and outside the classroom. It also makes learning English fun and meaningful for students, which are two essential ingredients in a successful teaching recipe
