Документ Leadership model for the enterprise in the vuca concept(2021) Moskalenko (Rymarenko), Victoria; Gadomska-Lila, KatarzynaLeadership is one of the most important elements of any society. The phenomenon of leadership becomes particularly important in times of strategic and technological changes. The purpose of the article is to reveal the essence, tasks and problems of leadership in Ukrainian food industry enterprises. The author concludes by describing the leadership model in order to authenticate the key vectors of leadership model change in the enterprises of the food industry. The analysis is based on data provided by enterprises and obtained through communication with CEOs. The analysis is based on the data obtained in the course of qualitative research. The author’s vision of the formation of the model of modern leadership in enterprises is presented. Asymmetrical aspects of the formation of a new generation of business leaders are mentioned. The article focuses on the combination of elements of vertical leadership development, emotional, cultural, social and verbal intelligence, with value management at its core.Документ Effectiveness of HRM Practices in Creating Job Satisfaction of Ukrainian Employees Working in Poland(2020) Gadomska-Lila, Katarzyna; Sudolska, Agata; Moskalenko (Rymarenko), VictoriaThe aim of the study to explore the relationship between HRM practices and job satisfaction of Ukrainian employees working in Poland. Design/Methodology/Approach: This paper applies a quantitative methodology. The study is based on questionnaires conducted in Ukraine and filled in by 441 people who had worked and continue work in Poland. Findings: The results demonstrate that there is a significant relationship between HRM practices, particularly around compensation and reward, applied in the case of employees from Ukraine, and their job satisfaction. Practical Implications: The findings of this research are beneficial for HRM managers in Polish enterprises who hire employees from Ukraine and would like to satisfy them and retain them longer, as they confirm the importance of certain practices and facilitate their efficient selection. Originality/Value: This research is valuable in terms of recognizing the relationship between the use of certain Human Resources Management practices in Polish enterprises and Ukrainian employees job satisfaction.Документ Migration of Employees from Ukraine – Cultural Proximity and Human Resources Management Practices as a Chance to Keep them in Poland(2021) Gadomska-Lila, Katarzyna; Moskalenko (Rymarenko), VictoriaThe purpose of this chapter is to identify the reasons for the emigration of Ukrainian employees and to explain the importance of cultural proximity and human resources practices whose aim is to keep them in Polish organisations. The considerations are based on a desk research analysis of migrations of Ukrainians, and on the results of quantitative empirical research conducted by the Authors regarding national cultures, values related to work and managing human resources. The research results allowed to determine problems faced by Ukrainian workers employed in Poland, as well as human resource management practices to help overcome them. The study shows that cultural proximity, linguistic similarity or common history favour the choice of Poland as the direction of migration for Ukrainians, and human resources management practices of Polish employers favour quick implementation to work in Poland.
