    Architecture of hybrid mechatronic dosing and packing module of packaging machine based on qualitative analysis

    A qualitative analysis of the process of packaging liquid products (non-carbonated drinking water) using the example of a hybrid mechatronic dosing and packaging module was performed. The computer model of the mechatronic module is described by the basic operators of the Simulink program, taking into account the differential equations for changing the technological parameters of liquid dosing and the accepted initial and boundary conditions of the process. The modes of operation of the hybrid mechatronic dosing and packaging module are programmed using the driver. The boundary conditions of the process of formation and extrusion of the dose of the product are taken into account. The control system of the module is arranged on the principle of feedback and a sharp change in pressure in the portion receiver (from excess, within 3 bars to rarefaction up to –850 mbar). The analysis of individual stages of the dosing process is described, followed by the elaboration of accepted assumptions. During the tests of the computer model of the hybrid mechatronic dosing and packaging module, the accuracy of repetitions of dose formation was determined within ±0.22 % and 0.9 % of the set value of the dose mass of 50…200 ml. An experimental bench was designed, which could provide an opportunity to check the results obtained from the computer model. The research results would allow using digital control and measuring equipment to check the accuracy of dosing of the product from 50 ml to 200 ml. In the course of computer simulation, the effects of the given parameters of the dosing process on the accuracy of the product dose formation were determined, as well as the laws of the necessary distribution of compressed air pressure were formed to maintain the given productivity. The research results could make it possible to improve the designs of liquid product dosing modules and to determine the input parameters for field studies.

    Hierarchical structures of machines for packing of viscous and plastic foodstuff and their synthesis

    Continuous expansion of the range of viscous and plastic products, use of different types of a retail container, search of the functional modules and communications in between cause need of creation of effective methodology of the description and an assessment of structure of packing machines according to different characteristics. Application of hierarchical structure of packing machines allows to research options of their configuration, both at the level of units of the functional modules, and at the level of the machine in general. The methodology of SADT ("Structured Analysis & Design Technique") which allowed constructing three levels conceptual model of the machine is applied to effective analysis of structure packing machines: the functional, functional - structural and structural.

    Synthesis of precision dosing systems for liquid products based on electropneumatic complexes

    This paper reports the construction of a mathe-matical model for the process of dosing liquid foods (non-carbonated drinking water). The model takes into consideration the differential equations of chang-es in the kinematic parameters of the liquid in a dos-ing device's channels and the corresponding accept-ed initial and boundary conditions of the process. The boundary conditions account for the influence of soft-ware-defined airlift dosing modes using the driver and the geometry of the product pipeline. The current's value measured in mA (with an accuracy of 0.001 mA) relative to the standard scale Imin is Imax=4...20 mA.Individual stages of the dosing process were ana-lytically described, followed by the analysis of sepa-rate stages and accepted assumptions.The accuracy achieved when testing the experi-mental sample of the dispenser, with the repetition of the dose displacement process, ranged between 0.35 % and 0.8 %. The reported results are related to the established dosage weight of 50 ml when changing the initial level of liquid in the tank of the dosing feeder by 10 mm.An experimental bench has been proposed for investigating the functional mechatronic dosing mod-ule under the software-defined modes to form and discharge a dose of the product. The bench operates based on proportional feedback elements (4–20 mA) for step and sinusoidal pressure control laws in the dosing device.The control model with working dosing modes has been substantiated. The control models built are based on proportional elements and feedback.During the physical and mathematical modeling, the influence of individual parameters on the accuracy of the product dose formation was determined; ways to ensure the necessary distribution of compressed air pressure, subject to the specified productivity of the dosing feeder, were defined. The study results make it possible to improve the operation of precision dosing systems for liquid products based on electro-pneumat-ic complexes.

    Scientific and technical improvement of functional modules of formation of structural elements of grouppackage

    Creation of a new packaging equipment that has a flexible structure and is versatile for different types of food, packaging materials and containers are a major challenge today. In this work the operation of putting of packing units by the new machine construction for group packing by the drive roller track has been researched, the duration oflayer putting has been defined, the methodology of definition of rational geometric, kinematic and force parameters of the mechanism of putting has been presented.Створення нового пакувального обладнання, яке має гнучку структуру та універсальне для різних видів продуктів харчування, пакувальних матеріалів та контейнерів, є сьогодні перспективним напрямком. У цій роботі досліджено операцію введення групової упаковки в пакувальні агрегати нової конструкції за допомогою приводних роликових доріжок, визначено тривалість формування шару, методику визначення раціональних геометричних, кінематичних та силових параметрів представлено механізм введення.

The method of the criteria analysis is used and the complex of the criteria indexes describing process of relocation and dispensing of a product is developed. Results of researches can be used for a choice of optimum structure of the packing equipment.

    Research smart-packages with active packaging systems

    In article the results of research "smart-packages" with the active oxygen system scavenging from consumer packaging. Results of research allowed: to pick up the packing material and determine the size of the sachet, in which decreases allocation heat accompanying a chemical reaction oxygen consumption under; the optimal amount of reagent that meets the requirements for the absorption of oxygen in packages with the test food product. В статті представлено результати досліджень smart-паковань з активною системою поглинання кисню в пакованні. Дослідження дали змогу: підібрати пакувальний матеріал та оптимальні розміри пакетика-саше з поглиначами кисню, що зменшує виділення тепла, яке виділяється під час хімічної реакції окиснення залізного порошку; оптимальну кількість реагуючої речовини, що вступаючи в хімічну реакцію окиснення залізного порошку забезпечує вимоги щодо поглинання кисню в паковані.

    Determining reasonable parameters for the functional module of moldable foods batching

    Design of both process and packaging equipment for food production facilities requires taking consideration of all factors affecting its operation and maintenance one way or another.This article proposes a method for scientifically substantiated determination or parameters for the functional module of moldable foods batching and sealing into consumer packages, taking into account the rheological parameters of foods, device structure, and the batching and sealing modes.
