The filtering abilities of beer vary depending on the chemical and physical properties of some compounds. The amount of substances that affect the filtering properties of beer depends on the composition of the raw materials used, the technological process of wort and beer preparation. The purpose of filtering is to make the beer so stable that it does not undergo any visible changes over a long period of time and the beer retains its appearance
