Innovation activity is all scientific, technological, organizational, financial and commercial steps which actually lead to the implementation of innovations. Some innovation activities are innovative, others are not new ones but are necessary for implementation of innovations. Innovation activities also include process of research and development that is not directly related to the development of a specific innovation.
