Особливості та перспективи розвитку краудфандингу в Україні

Abstract

У статті досліджено сутність категорії краудфандинг, узагальнено його класифікацію та принципи. Проаналізовано ключові характеристики світового та європейського ринку краудфандингу. Виявлено, що суттєвим поштовхом для розвитку європейського краудфандингу стала гармонізація законодавства країн ЄС щодо можливостей здійснення транскордонного краудфандингу. Проаналізовано особливості розвитку краудфандингу в Україні. Виділено два ключові етапи його становлення: до повномасштабного вторгнення та після. Підкреслено важливість розвитку акціонерного краудфандингу в Україні, як для залучення іноземних інвесторів для повоєнної відбудови, так і для розвитку вітчизняного фондового ринку. Ключовою проблемою, що стримує розвиток українського краудфандингу залишається відсутність законодавчої бази. При удосконаленні вітчизняного краудфандингу необхідно звернути увагу на створення умов для транскордонного краудфандингу; використанні інструментів штучного інтелекту при відборі проєктів; створенні нішевих платформ; сприянні появі гібридних моделей фінансування; використання технологій блокчейну для акціонерного краудфандингу. The article looks into the crowdfunding phenomenon, generalizes its classification and principles. The author has analysed the key features of global and European crowdfunding markets. The markets are growing rapidly and see debt-based, equity-based, and invoice financing dominating among the crowdfunding types. The author identified that harmonization of legislation of European Union member states on cross-border crowdfunding opportunities as a material driver of European crowdfunding. The article also looks into specifics of crowdfunding development in Ukraine. It identifies two keep stages of its development: prior two the full-scale invasion and afterwards. The article shows that the pre-war period of domestic crowdfunding development was generally in line with global trends of crowdfunding emergence, with dominance of cultural and social projects financing and gradual rise in the number of crowdfunding platforms and expansion of areas of funded projects. The second stage of Ukrainian crowdfunding development features domination of social and donation-based crowdfunding and growing trust to this financing instrument. The author has stressed the need for equity crowdfunding development in Ukraine. That would promote both foreign investor attraction to post-war reconstruction and domestic stock market development. The major problem that holds back Ukrainian crowdfunding development remains the lack of regulation, including that on protection of copyrights of project initiators. While improving domestic crowdfunding, one should pay attention to establishing proper conditions for cross-border crowdfunding; using AI tools to analyse potential success of projects on crowdfunding platforms and solve the liquidity challenge; setting up niche platforms that specialize on supporting certain sectors; promoting emergence of hybrid financing models by combining crowdfunding with venture and banking capital; using blockchain technologies to ensure ownership transparency, and taking into account ESG risks and SDG compliance indicators while developing crowdfunding campaigns.
