Knowledge discovery and data mining of structured and unstructured business data: problems and prospects of implementation and adaptation in crisis conditions

Abstract

In the current conditions of the development of the global economy and in connection with the emergence of new areas of economic activity in the IT sector, the phenomenon of structured and unstructured big data and the application of Data Science for in-depth analysis of data and knowledge in all possible modes provide corporations and institutions with competitive advantages both at the regional and interstate levels, which is especially relevant in the context of the current macroeconomic and military crisis. The article systematically examines the following topical issues: the current state and prospects for further development of Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD) technologies; problems and critical aspects of the theory and practice of Data Mining; the specifics of the effective use of knowledge extraction technologies from databases in the current crisis conditions in Ukraine. У сучасних умовах розвитку глобальної економіки та у зв’язку з появою нових сфер економічної діяльності в галузі IT, феномен структурованих і неструктурованих великих даних та застосування Data Science для поглибленого аналізу даних і знань у всіх можливих режимах забезпечують корпораціям і інституціям конкурентні переваги як на регіональному, так і на міждержавному рівнях, що є особливо актуальним у контексті нинішньої макроекономічної та воєнної кризи. У статті системно досліджено такі актуальні питання: сучасний стан та перспективи подальшого розвитку технологій.
