Abstract

Показано, що однією з основних причин складнощів сприйняття і пере-кладу творів М. Гоголя в інших культурах є його двоїсте національне і куль-турне самовизначення. Розкриваються особливості ставлення М. Гоголя до проблеми національності. The article deals with that the dual national and cultural self-identification of Nikolai Gogol is one of the main reasons for the difficulties of the understanding and the translation of his works and their perception in other cultures. It is shown the peculiarities of Gogol’s relations to the problem of nationality.
