dc.description.abstractThe paper analyzes the role of psychological characteristics in adaptive e-learning systems. A student model incorporating cognitive parameters, including individual forgetting rate, is proposed. The study reviews modern approaches to modeling memory decay and knowledge tracing and demonstrates how psychological parameters can complement data-driven models. The proposed approach may improve the personalization of learning trajectories and optimize repetition scheduling in foreign language learning systems.
