The ratio and drying conditions of the composition from tomato waste with the addition of red beet were substantiated. The tomato seeds were prepared according to the traditional methodology used in the industry. From red beet and tomato waste compositions with the ratios of components 4:1, 3:1, 2:1, 1:1 were created. Tomato seeds have been dried using the convective method at the air temperature t = 50–80˚C, as well as the composition from red beets and pulp of tomatoes – at t = 60–100 ºС. The quality of dried seeds was estimated on the basis of its germinability, dried mixtures – on the content of betanin in them. When the temperature of the air increases, the intensity of tomato seeds drying increases too. Thus, the drying time reduces by 2.5 times when the air temperature is raised from 50 to 80 °C. However, qualitative seed material, which gives the germinability of 98%, has been attained at the drying temperature of 50 ºС. Non-waste processing of tomatoes involves the creation of compositions of pulp tomatoes and sliced red beets, their drying, grinding and packing. In industrial conditions, red beets need to be cut into chips, which intensifies the drying process of the composition. The slicing of tomatoes in compositions does not affect the process speed. When the air temperature increases from 60 to 100 °C, the intensity of compositions drying is raised by 1,8 times. Maximum preservation of the useful substances in the finished product results from the choice of a soft drying condition and an air temperature of 60°С. pH = 3.9 is characteristic for the ratio of red beet-tomato components 3:1 in composition, which ensures the maximum preservation of betanin (94.7%) at drying. The purpose of the study is (1) to determine the energy parameters of the process of ultrafine grinding of medicinal and cosmetic components in a bead mill, as well as (2) to determine the dependences of changes in technological parameters. A suspension of castor oil and cosmetic pigment in a ratio of 60% oil and 40% pigment was used as a model body. A series of experiments was carried out, where the degree of grinding was determined using a microscope with a built-in camera and software, the temperature was measured with ds18b20 temperature sensors, the power was measured with a three-phase CNFAJ Intelligent Power Meter. When grinding the pigment "red 120" for a period of time from 0 to 45 minutes, the power decreases, the temperature of the "beads-product" system increases, and the particle size decreases. This process occurs most intensively in the first 5 minutes. The task of a dosing accuracy increasing requires a solution. The rational idea of improving the tablet press dosing mechanism is to adjust the size of the connecting hole between the feed cup and the feeder. It is proposed to change the relative position of the windows of the feeder and the feed cup, which are connected, by rotating the damper located in the ring between the cup and the feeder housing. This mechanism is much easier, faster and more accurately allows you to adjust the flow rate of the tableting mass. The proposed design is simpler and more reliable, as it does not require additional operations to configure. The inclined plane remains in a static position, so the error in braking the flow is smaller than when turning it. Improving the design of the feeder of the rotary tablet press by replacing the lever mechanism on the rotary damper, the position of which regulates the amount of material entering the mixers, simplifies the feed cup design, increases the efficiency of die filling and, accordingly, the dosing accuracy, facilitates the feeding device maintenance and increases its reliability in operation.Документ Increase the operating efficiency of the equipment for the liquid nutrient medium sterilization(2018) Fomenko, Yelyzaveta; Kucolapskiy, Andriy; Chepeliuk, OlenaThe irrelevant microflora in liquid nutrient media suppresses the growth of the culture of microorganisms, as well as changes the composition and properties of the nutrient medium, so it needs to be sterilized. Existing machine-and-apparatus schemes are quite energy-consuming and difficult to maintain, so increasing their efficiency is an urgent task. The feature of the proposed scheme of continuous sterilization of a liquid nutrient medium based on molasses with a productivity of 25 m3/h is the use of two contact heads, one of which is heated by the secondary vapor, and a tubular heat exchanger to cool sterile nutrient medium. Thermal and hydrodynamic processes that occur during processing, are simulated in the Flow Vision software system. The results of the computational experiment conducted in the Flow Vision software system indicate that the product speed through pipelines is on average 1.1 m/s and is sufficient to provide the desired productivity at moderate costs of transportation. For the considered scheme, the rational values of heat carriers temperatures required to achieve the desired product temperatures during its sterilization and cooling were determined. The possibility of changing the ph value, which affects the balance between carbon dioxide, bicarbonate and carbonate during saturation, by electrophysical treatment of water was considered. Industry produces various variants of electrolysers, but they are not suitable for saturation of drinks. Therefore, the development of an appropriate design is an urgent task. It is expedient to carry out the process of saturation simultaneously with the electrophysical treatment of pre-prepared (cooled and deaerated) water. The parameters that influence the efficiency of electrophysical treatment and the quality of finished products are the voltage, the voltage-ampere characteristic, the mutual placement of the electrodes, the duration of activation, the degree of mineralization of the solution. The influence of material of equipment, including electrodes, on the content of metals in the carbonated beverages is also taken into account. Electrodes in the process of operation should not experience electrochemical destruction. The method of spectral analysis is based on the apparatus of dead-end tests, involves comparing all the definite combinations of features which describe the object, has advantages over Pareto and motion to the goal methods, because it provides a generalized mathematical evaluation of the specimens which are considered. After analyzing five indicators (productivity, capacity, capacity of the feeding bin, weight, overall dimensions) of eight samples of equipment for the burger products production from different manufacturers, it has been established that according to the chosen parameters, the preference should be given to the machine Laminerva C/E 653 1ph. The correctness of a decision primarily depends on the correct choice of indicators to be compared. An ejection device was proposed and by mathematical modeling its rational structure was proved. It was recommended to implement supply of liquid in the central tube and the air - in the peripheral holes. The use of ejecting spray devices which have a proposed design provides a homogeneous water-air mixture with a uniform velocity and sufficient pressure. В статті розглянуто процес зволоження сипких компонентів у сушарці-грануляторі і обладнання для його реалізації. Запропоновано використовувати ежекційний пристрій і шляхом математичного моделювання обґрунтовано його раціональну конструкцію. Рекомендовано здійснювати подачу рідини у центральну трубку, а повітря – у периферійні отвори. Використання ежекційних розпилюючих пристроїв запропонованої конструкції забезпечує отримання однорідної водо-повітряної суміші з рівномірною швидкістю і достатнім тиском.
