The article deals with the questions of validity of different usage of classical Boston consulting group matrix; given the analysis of adapted effectiveness of Boston Consulting Group matrix and offered its new variety; it is improved the methodology of evaluation of the balanced degree of the enterprise’s commodity portfolio on basis of Boston Consulting Group matrix.
