    The use of electrotechnical equipment for food production wastewater treatment

    The wastewater ecological danger has been established on the example of a meat processing enterprise, systematic exceedances of normative maximum permissible concentrations of contaminants and unpredictable fluctuations of their values have been registered. The design of thesewage treatment electroflotocoagulation module is developed. Wastewaters from a dairy plant, a bakery, a distillery and a sugar plant were treated at the electrotechnical complex. Analytical dependencies are established to determine the energy consumption for counteraction of potential emergencies.

    Наукові та технологічні аспекти електрофізичного способу спрямованого збагачення молочної сироватки магнієм

    Комплексом досліджень підтверджено позитивний вплив електрофізичного збагачення сировини магнієм перед сушінням на показники якості сухої молочної сироватки, а саме: збагачення сухого продукту магнієм, відсутність ознак самоущільнення та злежування продукту під час зберігання та відсутність ознак неферментативного потемніння.A set of studies confirmed the positive effect of electrophysical enrichment of raw materials with magnesium before drying on the quality of whey powder, namely: enrichment of dry product with magnesium, no signs of self-compaction and caking of the product during storage and no signs of non-enzymatic darkening.

    Ion exchange membranes for regeneration of hydrochloric acid from etching solutions

    The process of regeneration of utilized hydrochloric acid etching solutions using electrochemical equipment with ion exchange membranes was examined. The products of cathode reactions were studied. It was proved that the waste solution was not only purified from contaminate ions, but the acid content increased during the electrolyzer operation.Розглядається процес регенерації відпрацьованих травильних розчинів на основі хлоридної кислоти з використанням електрохімічних пристроїв з іонообмінними мембранами. Вивчено продукти реакцій на катоді. Доведено, що при роботі електролізера відпрацьований травильний розчин не тільки очищується від забруднюючих його іонів, але і збільшується вміст кислоти.

    Electrodeionization of li-containing solutions using ion exchange material based on tio2-mno2

    In this work the problem of selective extraction of Li+ ions from combined solutions by electromembrane method is being solved. Sorbent based on lithium-substituted titanium manganese oxide was used. It is established that the function of the sorbent in the membrane system is reduced to the turbulization of the solution flow, but under the influence of alkalization of the solution near the surface of the sorbent granules, its sorption capacity increases with an increase in voltage from 3 to 20 V.

    Electrodeionization removal of HCrO4- ions from diluted solution. Effect of membrane

    Transport of chromate ions in the systems involving granulated ionexchangers and anion-exchange membranes of different origin was researched under various voltage. The role of the membranes as sorption barrier was considered. The method that allows one to estimate mobility of sorbed ions through ion-exchanger bed has been proposed. Electrodeionization of Cr(VI)- containing solution using inorganic ion exchange materials was studied.

    Concentrate management for nf brine of ground water using electromembrane (ED and EDI) processes

    In this study, treatment of ground water used in a fruit juice company located in İzmir city by integrated nanofiltration (NF), electrodialysis (ED) and electrodeionization (EDI) methods was studied. For this purpose, the ground water obtained from the plant was treated by using two different NF membranes (NF-90 and NF-270). The brine from both NF membranes was fed to ED stack. The ED diluate was further treated by EDI process for ultrapure water production.
