Innovation as a priority area of structural policy

Abstract

It is determined that the economic structure inherited by Ukraine was extremely deformed. The structural changes that have occurred in the economy during the years of transformational changes are analyzed. Innovations are substantiated as a desirable direction of structural policy. Визначено, що успадкована Україною структура економіки була вкрай деформованою. Проаналізовано структурні зміни, що відбулися в економіці за роки трансформаційних перетворень. Обґрунтовано інновації як бажаний напрям структурної політики.
