    Scaling of apparatus with mixing device for deep cultivation

    In this work, the object of scaling were fermenters with a mechanical mixing system for deep aerobic cultivation of the Blakeslea trispora fungus on the medium of beta-carotene microbiological solution. Constructed special computational graphs, calculated simplexes of geometric similarity, coefficients of turbulent transfer and, as a result, calculations of volumetric coefficients of mass transfer.

    Selection of fermenter with optimal characteristics for batch process of microbial synthesis

    The global technical-economic criteria of optimization can be used for the selection of the most effective fermenter for bath process of microbial synthesis. The algorithm for this criteria calculation was developed using software MathCAD. This calculated optimization criteria considers the physiological properties of cultivated microorganism, composition of nutrient medium and the cost of each component, energy consumption for mixing and aeration, capital costs for purchase and installation of fermenter, as well as for its amortization. Comparative studies of different types of fermenters from created database allow to choose the most effective fermenter with the optimal characteristics and to minimize expenses for realization of fermentation process.

    Оптимизация процесса проектирования биотехнологических производств путем разработки элементов САПР

    Работа посвящена созданию элементов САПР на основе базы данных технологий биотехнологических продуктов в Microsoft Access, каталога типовых технологических аппаратурных схем в Microsoft Visio, а также реализации алгоритма расчета глобального критерия оптимизации с целью выбора ферментатора с оптимальными характеристиками для проведения периодического процесса микробного синтеза с использование программного продукта MathCAD. The article is dedicated to the creation of the CAD elements, based on the database of biota: products technology in Microsoft Access, the catalog of typical equipment-technological schemes in Microsoft Visio and implementation the algorithm for calculating the global optimization critericz of selection the fermenter with optimal characteristics for the carrying out process of microbial synthesis using the software MathCAD.
