Korotko’s phenomenological myth of Odesa in Bera and Cucumber: otherness, melancholy and anthropocene
    (2024) Drozdovskyi, Dmytro; Naumenko, Nataliia
In the research, with the help of the method of mytho-criticism and archetypal analysis (Carl Gustav Jung), the author has analyzed and outlined the chronotope represented in the stories in Bera and Cucumber by Aleksandr Korotko. This book, translated into English by M. Pursglove, was published in London in 2023. With the help of archetypal analysis, the Odesa text was characterized as a mythological one. It has been investigated that the Odesa narrative represents a special worldview of the heroes, who are characterized by a combination of kabbalistic worldview, Christian humanism, Turkish melancholy, contemplativeness that results from the unity of the heroes of the Odesa space with eternal nature elements

The plant half products for fortification of foodstuffs
    (2023) Simahina, Galina; Naumenko, Nataliia
The subjects for researching are the green parts (tops) of beets, ramsons, nettle, garlic, pea husk, and onion skin. We confirmed the high content of indispensable amino acids – 87 to 283 mg per 100 g of leucine; 72 to 205 mg per 100 g of lysine; 504 to 1375 mg per 100 g in total. Dispensable amino acids in maximal amount are represented by glycine (83 to 377 mg per 100 g), alanine (87 to 251 mg per 100 g). Proteins in researched materials are outstanding with high grade of proteolysis (28.61 % for garlic; 28.81 % for nettle; 29.37 % for sugar beet), which slightly differs from the control index (milk proteins, 30.01 %). Taking green mass for a base to create the biologically active additives and polyfunctional ingredients is grounded scientifically, expedient technologically, and profitable economically. We have recommended using the green mass of plants for enrichment of any food bases in production of foodstuffs for both domestic and foreign markets.

Qualitative indicators of grain flakes of functional purpose
(2019) Bazhay-Zhezherun, Svitlana; Simahina, Galina; Bereza-Kіndzerska, Ludmila; Naumenko, Nataliia
The influence of temperature regime and duration of cold grain conditioning on its biological value is determined. The dependence of basic physical and technological parameters of cereal flakes and organoleptic properties of finished samples of finished products on their component composition is investigated. The degree of maintenance of daily needs of the adult population in the macro and microcurrencies is determined, due to the consumption of 100 g of cereals. The indicators of microbiological stability of products are established.

Fantastic Binomial, the Conceptual Image-making Method for Contemporary Free Verse
    (2010) Naumenko, Nataliia
Metaphor as one of the conceptual tropes got a lot of subordinate conceits for its description throughout all the literary history. In the 20th century, one of them was thoroughly formulated in Gianni Rodari’s Grammar of Fantasy (La Grammatica della Fantasia) as a fantastic binomial, a clause which contains a noun and a verb (or an adjective) that a priori are not tied with logical ties and further set up a base for a fairy-tale story. This is the main difference of a fantastic binomial from a usual metaphor. In this paper, we confirmed the mentioned kind of metaphor as a conceptual image-making way in contemporary Ukrainian free verse.

The writer’s work through the prism of science and creativity (based on mikhail veller’s essay “technology of a short story”)
    (2012) Naumenko, Nataliia
This article represents the main conceits of development of a writer’s individual style and mastery, as they were interpreted in prose writings by Mikhail Veller, the modern Russian prose writer and publicist. There was shown that the views of a writer’s mastery in literary theory and in one’s own artistic practice could differ in terms, yet be similar in the main idea of an individual style development, which is the constant hard work on every word and phrase, whether in poetic or in prosaic writing. The keypoints of so-called ‘technology of a short story,’ as they were interpreted in writings by M. Veller, are thoroughly analyzed in the given article, based on the examples from Ukrainian and Lithuanian literatures. The author of the article has shown that such conceptual components of a literary process as the creative invention, genre modifications, composition, language and style, are to be connected by an artistic idea to make up the real short story which would be read non-stop. These principles were used to study one of the humoresques by Vitaute Žilinskaite, Precise Orientations. It was chosen as the brilliant synthesis of story, parody, literary essay, and scientific article, whose artistic objectives are not only a derision of the graphomaniac writer, but also a persuasion for the young poets from erroneous steps in assessment of individual literary style.

Sublimed plant biologically active аdditives with radioprotecting action
(2013) Simahina, Galina; Stetsenko, Natalia; Naumenko, Nataliia
The low-temperature (cryogenous) technology of processing the plant raw materials into biologically active food additives with increased content of vitamins, mineral elements and other precious components important for human organism functioning was designed by the scientists of NUFT, and thereto presented in this article. The technology consisted of two stages – freezing the raw material by liquid nitrogen (first stage) and crystalline water sublimation up to the final humidity of 8…12% (second stage). The dry products obtained with such a technology were outstanding due to their high quality, positive influence on human organism’s organs and functions, the ability to avoid accumulating radionuclides and other toxic substances and, otherwise, to remove those present in the organism. Sublimed products made possible to widen the range of healthy food products, and, consequently, had got the real perspective to be realized on domestic and foreign markets.
